Digiprog 3 No Connection to VW Beetle and Mariner
Hello, Ann,
I have a problem using Digiprog3 mileage programmer. Recently I bought a Digiprog III with full software (SM33-C) from you. The device looks solid. But when I used it to adjust mileage data for 2011 VW Beetle and 2007 Mariner, it did not give me any responses but “No Connection”. I used the 16pin OBD cable in the package to connect the car with Digiprog3. What could be the problem?
Sheldon
Dear Sheldon,
There is a good chance that the mileage data of the two vehicles cannot be changed via OBDII port. Please try it in another way – disassemble the dashboard and take out the mileage chip for correction. The chip cannot be adjusted directly. You should use a ST01 cable or ST04 cable to connect the chip with the mileage programmer. You can find the cables in the package we sent to you.
Which cable should you use? Please read your user manual and it will let you know. In fact, before use Digiprog3, you are suggested to read the manual in the CD carefully, and learn which way to program mileage for different cars.
