(Solved) Ford Speed Limiter Removal

A couple days ago, my 2000 Ford F150 was confronted with a big problem, ie speed limiter. Nothing I can do to solve it directly, so I posted it online for help. And here, I would like to post the solution provided online, which has been proved to be advisable in person.

Origin
Previously I purchased a ford transit connect 2011 plate, but later found the speed limiter came down to 60 mph in place. So I bought Ford VCM II V86 OEM diagnostic tool in order to remove it. While I just installed the software to the computer, and do not know how to proceed without detailed operation guide.

Solution
1. To remove a limiter from a 2011 connect
2. Select "toolbox" and then click "Module Programming" once IDS has installed and well communicated with your computer.

3. Select "Programmable Parameters", and then click "Speed items"

4. Select "Vehicle Speed Limit and to click" Disable Speed Limiter ".

5. After finish Step4, it will pop up an instruction "Is the vehicle equipped with the PATS system" and click "yes".

6. IDS will erase PCM (ECU) when finish Step5.

7. After a while, IDS will download data to PCM (ECU).

8. Click on tick mark to proceed. IDS will inform you to turn ignition on and off for several times.

9. Then automatically run PAST service function, click to proceed and IDS will inform you again to turn ignition on and off for several times.

10. So far, the interface indicates Operation Successful and Programming Complete, and click tick mark to continue.

11. IDS starts to clear DTCs, after fault code has been erasing successfully, the process is completed.
